AI Visual Artists

As some of our clients know, we’ve been heavily involved in digital media since it’s inception before the internet. We were designing 35mm slide shows using digital projection devices and colour digital prints and have seen massive changes to the digital workspace, hardware, software and environment we work with on a daily basis.

The introduction of AI assisted productions means that we can broaden the scope of what CodaCo can produce. We’ve been using Adobe AI products that allows us to produce commercially copyright original HD prints. Mastered in Photoshop our prints developed with AI allows CodaCo digital artists to work and create in different styles with different subjects both of which can be customised to suit our needs.

Some of our clients have themes in hotel rooms for example and may want to produce original prints using a specific subject such as sport, nature, business but using a specific style, such as classic, impressionist, abstract and in a specific medium such as charcoal, watercolour and oils that can bring a room together using these variables and a colour palette which can be both specific and surprising.

After using AI to assist us in production, we feel that in the very near future that most people regardless of occupation will have their own preferred AI assistant depending on what their needs are. Necessity will drive each of us to a specific AI platform and over time it may become an essential tool, a bit like a mobile phone. We may all have an AI assistant customised to us incorporating all the areas of our current and ever changing focus.

We also think big corporations hosting the AI could gather a lot of information via prompts and uploaded input from users and we’d like to know more about how this is going to be managed by the AI companies. For example, is AI going to be collecting and learning from everything we put into it and the answer appears to be yes. So to use and learn from users it must be storing all the data but is it being deleted, the answer appears to be no?

So AI has literally been heaped on us via digital software, apps and platforms. There dosen’t appear to be any going back so as long as copyrights are respected, we’ll use AI tools as assistants rather than an end solution.
